Apache AH1 was roaded into Wattisham on 26th July 2023. It had previously been in use as a Battle Damage Repair Training airframe with 1710 NAS at Portsmouth Dockyard. Prior to this, this aircraft had suffered an accident in Afghanistan and had been removed from active service.
