Boeing have announced that the 50th and final AH-64E for the Army Air Corps has been delivered at Mesa, Arizona.
A handover ceremony on 6th March 2025 attended by representatives of Boeing, British Army, AAC, MOD, D&ES marked the final delivery of this program. With the final helicopter to remain in the USA for trials work, the last two to be delivered to the UK were being prepared for imminent shipment.
50 brand new Apache Guardian fuselages were built for the AAC, and fitted with some of the expensive high-tech equipment removed from the older Apache Longbows. These fully up-to-date aircraft should see service for many years into the future.
