In mid 2025, exercise Pinion Storm has recently concluded. This large scale exercise saw the involvement of three AAC AH-64E squadrons from Wattisham, along with other UK and NATO assets, including from new NATO members Finland and Sweden.

14 AH-64Es from Wattisham were involved, and all had safely returned home by June 2025.
