Another UK first flight today (Thursday 18th August 2022) as ZM715 took to the air as ArmyAir606
Apache AH-64E made it’s first UK flight today (Wednesday 17th August 2022) at Wattisham as it took to the air for a local test flight by AAC606.
Three more brand new Apache AH-64Es arrived in the UK on 28th July 2022. They were airfreighted from Phoenix, Arizona into Mildenhall, Suffolk aboard a USAF C-5M 86-0013. The airframes are ZM719, ZM721 and ZM722. After being readied for road move, they were transported to Wattisham on 02/08/2022.
The final two Apaches (ZJ199 and ZJ209) for the Capability Sustainment Programme departed Wattisham by road today (21st July 2022) heading for Brize Norton. 23rd June 2022 saw 7 Regiment at Middle Wallop receive their fourth AH-64E when ZM702 was delivered in from Wattisham as “ArmyAir782“
16th June 2022 saw the delivery of a third AH-64E from Wattisham to the AAC HQ at Middle Wallop, when ZM714 transferred to 7 Regiment as “Carnage1“
3 more new AH-64Es arrived in the UK on 15th June 2022 from Boeing in Arizona. USAF C-5M 85-0009 delivered the airframes into RAF Mildenhall as “Reach455“. ZM715, ZM717 and ZM718 will be prepared for road move to Wattisham in the coming days.
